Privacy policy

Information on how PlainWorks processes personal data.

Controller

Ibrahim Mahmoud, Munscheider Str, 44869 Bochum, Germany, [email protected].

Data processed

We process account details, order and payment status, support messages, target links supplied for orders, and technical data necessary to operate and secure the website.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is used to create accounts, perform contracts, process payments, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. The applicable legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligations.

Recipients

Depending on the selected service, data may be processed by hosting/database providers, payment providers such as PayPal or Revolut, and fulfilment suppliers strictly to complete an order. Do not submit passwords or unnecessary personal information in target links.

Storage and rights

We retain data only as long as needed for the stated purposes and legal retention duties. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may complain to a data-protection authority.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses essential session cookies for sign-in and local storage for preferences such as theme, language, and cart. Non-essential analytics is loaded only after your consent.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. The Google tag loads with analytics storage denied by default and does not set or read Analytics cookies before consent; in this privacy mode, Google may receive consent status and cookieless measurements. If you consent, we measure page views and interactions such as enquiries, registrations, cart additions, and checkout starts. Cookie-based processing is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG where applicable. Google may process data outside the EEA using applicable transfer safeguards. You can withdraw consent through ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Retention settings are managed in Google Analytics.
